Using film and photography to capture the image of items rescued from a house fire, Minnesota-based multimedia artist Chris Larson creates a strange landscape of charred furniture, musical instruments and car parts. The foreign terrain invites us to consider how we understand the role of the material stuff in our lives outside the context of its original.
